The seminar’s first objective is to analyse, compare and develop literacy practices and basic skills policies, but also to capitalize and disseminate results stemming from the many projects supported by Europe in this field, mainly under the Grundtvig programme. Four main themes are addressed: quality, training of trainers, awareness raising campaigns and practice of writing workshops.
The seminar’s second objective is to set up a European network on literacy and on the fight against adult illiteracy. In this context, the partners present will do all they can to expand their current resources.
